JAKARTA, October 31, 2011 – Indonesia Chief Information Officer Network (ICION), the professional organization for CIOs and aspiring CIOs to share experience and knowledge IT Leadership, together with CBN, today announces the first cloud security competency program CCSK (Certification for Cloud Security Knowledge) in Indonesia.
The CCSK program is part of ICION campaign “Work Together, Make Cloud in Indonesia Safe” aimed toward all the Indonesian IT stakeholders to work hand-in-hand in realizing a safe cloud computing.
Organizations and business in Indonesia are aware of the Cloud computing benefits to streamline operations, reduce costs and better align IT with business. However, their understanding of Cloud computing security is still not much increased since the last few years. Hence, security is still a major concern when adopting private, public or hybrid cloud. CCSK consists of Basic and Advanced level, with certification exams.
“We fully understand the strategic importance of Cloud computing to increase Indonesian business competitiveness in the middle of globalization. On that basis, we invite all IT stakeholders in Indonesia to work together in creating a secure Cloud computing,” said Erison Hek Oktavian, Founder and Executive Committee, Indonesia CIO Network. “We would like to thank CBN for their support in this competency program and concern for the Cloud computing security in Indonesia.”
ICION has the mission to enhance the competency of Indonesian IT professional, enabling them to make significant contribution to the business. The Cloud computing educational program is one form of the mission. The first CCSK – Basic class will be held in November 10, 2011. There will be four classes during 2012.
